JPMA Clerks Pass Bar - Meet Our Three New Lawyers
Our heartfelt congratulations go out to three members of our JPMA team who today received their results of the Illinois Bar Exam taken this summer.
Alexandra Kotelon, Sr. Law Clerk — Alex joined JPMA in March 2008 as a law clerk. She is a graduate of Chicago-Kent College of Law and holds an undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Illinois, Chicago. In addition to her myriad of duties as a clerk, Alex also provides translation for our Polish-speaking clients.
Lee Hauserman, Sr. Law Clerk — Lee also joined our firm in March 2008 as a law clerk. He completed his legal studies at Loyola Chicago School of Law and holds an undergraduate degree in economics from Oklahoma State University. Lee also earned a diploma in Spanish from the Defense Language Institute, and served in the US Army from 1999 to 2007 earning a rank of Sergeant. During his service he spent a year in Iraq.
Laura J. Smith, Law Clerk — After graduating from Wayne State University School of Law in Michigan, Laura recently joined JPMA. She quickly demonstrated her skills and we immediately knew we wanted to keep her on board once licensed. She earned an undergraduate degree in political science and psychology at the University of Detroit Mercy, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
Alex, Lee and Laura each will be fully licensed to practice law once sworn in by the Illinois Supreme Court in November. We are eager to add these fine team members to our attorney roster.

Alex, Lee & Laura,
I know it was a long day, waiting for the results. But nobody had any doubt what they'd be. Congratulations!
