Mathematical formula may predict likelihood of divorce

The London bureau of AFP (Agence France-Presse) today reports a British mathematician has devised a formula to predict the likelyhood of divorce.

Oxford University professor James Murray says his formula successfully predicted whether a couple would divorce 94 percent of the time in a study of 700 newly married couples tracked for 12 years.

Isn't that what Cosmo and other magazines have been telling us for years?
