In late July we announced Associate Attorney Colin F. Carr joined Joseph P. McCaffery & Associates.  Today we'd like to also welcome Associate Attorney Mickelle Olawoye to the firm.

Mickelle, who will focus on litigation and appeals, has served as a panel attorney for the Office of the State Appellate Defender in Illinois’ First and Third Districts, and as a CJA panel attorney in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh District.  She also has been a contract attorney, working with some of Chicago's largest law firms.  Most recently she was in private practice in Naperville. 

Mickelle graduated from Syracuse University College of Law, holds a master’s degree in international relations from Syracuse University, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa.  She is licensed to practice law in Illinois, New York and the Federal Court of Appeals. Articles on litigation Olawoye has handled have appeared in The Chicago Daily Law Bulletin and New York Law Journal.
