Kane County judge to hear Hall DUI case

WAUKEGAN — A Kane County judge has been chosen to hear the DUI case against the chief judge of Lake County.

The Illinois Supreme Court has ordered Kane County Circuit Judge F. Keith Brown to preside over the case against Lake County Judge David Hall.

Hall, 55, of Waukegan, was charged with DUI, resisting a police officer, improper lane usage and making an improper turn early on the morning of April 28 in Vernon Hills.

According to police, Hall scuffled with officers who attempted to place handcuffs on him.

Brown, a 17-year veteran of the Kane Circuit Court, has presided over cases involving DUI, mental health and small claims.
